Live game shooting and simulated shooting feedback
Hi, Colin and Jane,
We wanted to let you know how very much we enjoyed our two recent simulated
game days at Llangibby. It was terrific to shoot your new drives which we
found very challenging and unique to the menu.
We must say, however, that the best of everything was thrown into the stunning
day you orchestrated for Mike Jackson's 60th birthday bash!! It couldn't
have been done any better.
And the "gnat" competitions between drives were fantastic!!
Thanks again for the fine outings and we look forward to seeing you mid-summer
for another go or two.
All the best from across the pond.

Dear Colin,
I just wanted to thank you for the excellent Simulated Game Day I experienced
at Llangibby. Having shot at other Simulated Game Day Shoots, where every
'drive' seemed to be the same, Llangibby offers the best variety I have
yet experienced; partridge, high pheasant and your wonderful Grouse Butt!
It was great practice for my son, a beginner, and myself, an experienced
gun, and will, without doubt, improve both our shooting particularly with
your advice of having a professional coach behind us for the day at a very
reasonable price! I can't thank you enough and would like to book up another
day with you.
Apart from the Shooting, Jane's grub was wonderful. The only problem we
had was explaining to my wife, a professional cook, that we didn't need
any dinner!
Keep up the good work and please let me know if you have any free days left
in the Game day syndicate.
All the best,
Carl Sevorg
Hi Colin "greetings form Seattle"
Just thought I would drop you a line and let you know how much I enjoy the
simulated game day's at llangibby.
My first S. G.D. was with you last year and I will never forget the last
stand at the grouse butts. I shoot 232 round myself, I was out of shells
and the clay's were still coming. I actually had dreams about it afterwards
it was so exciting. If you noticed this year I carry an extra case of cartridges
on my shoulder to each stand, I will not be running out of shells again
before a drive is complete.
This year I was back for two more S. G. D. The first was Saturday April
19th which was great day and the back again on April 23rd for a special
event day to celebrate Michael Jackson's birthday which was absolutely
over the top. The addition of the 'Nat' radio controlled plane
that we all got to shoot at for points and shoot down several times) to
this event was an outstanding treat graciously provide by Conrad Sturt and
topped off a stunning Day of clays and Birthday cheers for Mike. Well done!
I find S.G.D. a way to get the thrill of shooting driven game for a more
affordable price. I only wish we had something like it here in the states,
but we don't as far as I know. So we will be seeing you again some
time soon in the future for more of this good fun.
Cheers Colin
