Simulated game shooting and traditional game shooting at its best

Welcome to Colin Ford Sporting in Wales, highest quality simulated game shooting and traditional game shooting in Wales

Welcome to Colin Ford Sporting the home of simulated game shooting and traditional game shooting. Our shoots take place at Llangibby Estate which is located three miles south of the small town of Usk and five miles north of Caerleon in the valley of the River Usk.

The Llangibby Estate has been home to the Addams Williams family for over 400 years.

The estate has always been involved in sport with the Llangibby and Curre Hunt still in operation. The pheasant shoot once gained the reputation as one of the top five shoots on the country.

Shooting is an ideal way to entertain guests from complete novices to crack shots. Our days consist of the traditional live game shooting and our simulated game shooting have all the trappings of a traditional game shoot but the targets are clay pigeons.

A day on the estate can be tailored to suit your requirements and the ability of the guns. Instructors can be provided for less experienced shots or for guns who simply want to improve their technique.

For shooting syndicates we offer the chance of an out of season get together and warm up days.

Colin Ford, being a sixth generation game keeper and spending more than 37 years in the industry, is superbly qualified to deliver some of the finest traditional live and simulated game shooting in the UK. Colin a champion clay pigeon shot and former FIT ASC British referee has gained an enviable reputation for producing a great days sport.

Jane Ford, Colin's wife, delivers excellent catering for each shoot. Jane holds a Health and Hygiene Certificate and her specialty is home made food using recipes handed down through the family.

The shoot is run very much as a family affair which allows us to personalise your day.
